Cookin’ with My Greg! :)
Catherine (my sister and matron of honor), Melanie (my dear friend and maid of honor), Sharon (cherished friend and bridesmaid), and Debbie (wonderful friend who I love DEARLY) hosted a bridal shower for me on the ALERT Campus! It was a wonderful time!
Before the event, I got to meet members of Greg’s extended family over at Catherine and Chris’s!

Here are Josh (Greg’s nephew – back of the sofa) then Ricky (family friend), Sierra (Greg’s niece), My Greg with great-nephew Gabe on his lap, Me :) , and Zack (Greg’s nephew and our ring bearer)

Here’s Susie (Greg’s sister-in-law), Nicole (Greg’s niece), and Kimberly (Greg’s niece)
Greg has a wonderful family – I am SOOO looking forward to calling them my own! Susie – my sister to be – has been so precious! As Greg and I have gotten closer – throughout our courtship and engagement – Susie has sought me out as a friend and future family member to encourgage me, pray for me, and befriend me! I praise God for her! Love you, Suzie! SOOOO glad we’ll be FAMILY!
79 days and counting DOWN! :) Yay!!!

Our wedding is scheduled for June 6th! And WOW, it is amazing to see the blessing of the Lord on every side as Greg and I plan for our wedding and lives together. We serve a GOOD GOD!
It is TRUE: The Lord God IS a sun and shield; He DOES give grace and glory! NO Good Thing does He withhold from them that walk uprightly! (see Ps. 84:11)
Keep looking to Jesus, dear children of God!
Twas so funny!
As long as I can remember, my grandmother has always answered the telephone in the same way – with few exceptions. Night, mid-day or morning, it’s the same: **ring, RING** and my Grandma answers, “Praise the Lord! It’s a BEAUTIFUL day! What can I do to help you?” :)
I love it! It’s so…..so….so “My Grandma” :)
Last night, I called her to ask a question. Our conversation went something like this:
Telephone: **ring RING**
Grandma: ” Praise the Lord! It’s a BEAUTIFUL day! What can I do to help you?”
Sarah: “What do you MEAN ‘beautiful‘???? It’s cloudy, rainy, and cold!!”
Grandma: “Where?”
Sarah: “Outside!”
Grandma: “Who wants to go out there?”
Hehe – To me, that was just the funniest thing! I laughed!
….and thought I would share the moment with YOU!
Have a blessed week, y’all!
